The 1st episode of March

This week we are joined by Mel Du Puy, breathing-life coach focusing on 'breathwork' a new meditation practice that focuses primarily on breath.  Converstions turns from connected-breathing to pelvic floor exercises, infamous kegels, and different types of orgasm -so make sure you listen to the entire show! We want to reach our goal of having 2010 listeners, so please suggest to a podcast lovin' friend and spread the word. On our facebook page, in the upper left hand corner is a 'Suggest To A Friend' option which maybe an easy way to spread the word. You can check on Mel's workshops and upcoming events at her website breathinbreathout.net.  In addition, Jerilyn mentions her recent interview on the Musing Mommies podcast and Amy intros our new segment 'Drink Of The Week' . Next week's drink. A Blue Martini.  Subscribe in iTunes so you get each episode downloaded automatically.

Oh and check out the Amazon widget (in the sidebar here) of books Jerilyn is recommending this month. We totally want to bump up the book talk quotient on our show, so feel free to chime in, listeners.

If I could ask for one more tiny favor, can you leave us a review on iTunes?

Tomorrow night!

Excited to record tomorrow night with Melanie Du Puy to talk about sex, breath and yoga. I don't know what the heck we are going to talk about, but I know it's going to be fun! Her website can be found here and she leads workshops if you are in the Los Angeles area.  And, you may have noticed that I added an Amazon book widget in the side margin of some of my favorite reads - i definitely like the dark/gothic stuff, so it's not for the squeamish. Amy wants to embark on a new 'Drink Of The Week' segment on our show, which I wholeheartedly endorse. ANd make sure yoou leave us a message, I am feeling a little feedback-sparse currently. Thanks for checking in!

Musing Mommies interviews jerilyn!

The Musing Mommies podcast is on my my faves, Kim and Dawn are so mellow and so sweet. I love the 'real conversation' genre of podcast, of two friends just chattin' away. And, I was tickled that Kim suggested they interview me for an upcoming episode. We did a hour-long interview via Skype last night and it was so fun, I could have talked to those two for hours. Take a listen and you can find out a little more about me, and a little more about them!

Thanks for listening!

I'm having a busy morning so just a brief update to say hi and tell everyone I'm already thinking about fun things to talk about for next week's episode. My goal for March is to double our number of subscribers, so please forward our url to a friend and spread the word!

Call for Submissions!

Do you have a crazy story about a 'bad' date? I know you do! I'm compiling listener stories to be produced and edited in the style of  'This American Life'. Was your date so bad that you want to be anonymous? That's fine too. Email me a quick blurb and if it is the light-hearted, quirky tone I'm looking for - then I will call you (that's ok, right?), exchange a few more emails  or set up a Skype interview. If you have a friend that has a crazy story, tell them to get in touch with me. I'm sending out a worldwide request for the best funniest 'bad date' stories out there. So c'mon listeners, let me have 'em.
